Curtis Black Insurance Associates LLC engages in a holistic approach to your insurance program.

Jon Black, the agency principal, joined Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in 1972 as a life/health agent. Also, he was one of the first agents trained in property/casualty insurance by the newly formed Metropolitan Property and Liability Co. In 1976, he added business insurance products to his practice, and since then he has helped his clients coordinate all their insurance needs.

In 1995, Jon Black and Wayne Curtis formed Curtis Black Insurance Associates, which is committed to providing clients with products that focus on value—with an emphasis on quality rather than quantity. Wayne retired in 2017, and Jon continues this tradition.

“I look for safe, financially solid companies that consistently provide fairly priced innovative products backed up with great service,” said Jon Black. “Any company can offer an insurance policy to cover someone’s needs, but only a handful of companies offer coverages that add real value to the policyholder.”

Curtis Black Insurance Associates was established in 1995 by Jon Black and Wayne Curtis—who both have decades of experience in the insurance business—to provide individuals and businesses with insurance programs that provide high value and comprehensive protection. Our strength is in being able to understand and coordinate all aspects of our client’s personal and business insurance coverages and to back that up with quality service.
